I haven’t worked at Kongsberg Maritime long enough to have been involved in anything similar here, but I am quite sure that I will get to experience a lot of exciting things with this company in the future. The vessel was later voted Ship of the Year 2017 by Skipsrevyen magazine; this is an achievement that I am proud to have been a part of. The Service Operation Vessel (SOV) of Bernhard Schulte, WINDEA LEIBNIZ, has been nominated ‘Ship of the Year 2017’ by the maritime magazine Skipsrevyen. The winner will be announced on 30th May at the Nor-Shipping exhibition. This was certainly a case of getting ‘out of our comfort zones’ for all parties involved but the success that the project has achieved, and the worldwide notice that the Vision of the Fjords tourist ship has received, has certainly made it all worthwhile.
